Purpose and Service Limits

York County Busted Mugshots is an independent reference guide. It does not keep official jail, court, or corrections records and cannot verify custody, release a person, post bond, or submit records requests for a visitor.

The site points to resources such as the York County Inmate Search, the YCSO Records Management Unit, official court portals, SCDC, and third-party research tools. South Carolina public-record access is subject to the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act and its exemptions, not to a promise by this site.

Acceptable Use

• Use the site only in a lawful manner.
• Do not use information from it to stalk, threaten, harass, or harm another person.
• Do not make hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or similar decisions from this site's content.
